Rosh HaShanah (the Festival of Trumpets/the Jewish New Year) begins at sundown, September 8, 2010 and goes through September 10. This is the first day of the Jewish year 5770.

Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) begins at sundown, September 17, 2010.

Sukkot (Tabernacles) begins at sundown, September 22, 2010 and goes through September 29.

Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) begins at sundown on December 1, 2010. Light candles for 8 nights.

Purim (from the Book of Esther) begins at sundown March 20, 2011.

Passover begins at sundown April 18, 2011 and goes through April 26.

Shavuot (Weeks/Pentecost) begins at sundown June 7, 2011.

Tisha B'Av (Destruction of Temple) begins at sundown August 9, 2011.
