Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) begins at sundown, October 8, 2008.

Sukkot (Tabernacles) begins at sundown, October 14, 2008.

Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) begins at sundown on December 21, 2008. Light candles for 8 nights.

Purim (from the Book of Esther) begins at sundown March 10, 2009.

Passover begins at sundown April 8, 2009.

Shavuot (Weeks/Pentecost) begins at sundown May 29, 2009.

Tisha B'Av (Destruction of Temple) begins at sundown July 30, 2009.
