Rosh HaShanah (the Festival of Trumpets/the Jewish New Year) begins at sundown, September 5, 2013 and goes through September 6. This is the first day of the Jewish year 5774.

Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) begins at sundown, September 13, 2013.

Sukkot (Tabernacles) begins at sundown, September 18, 2013 and goes through September 27.

Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) begins at sundown on November 28, 2013. Light candles for 8 nights.

Purim (from the Book of Esther) begins at sundown March 16, 2014.

Passover begins at sundown April 14, 2014 and goes through April 22.

Shavuot (Weeks/Pentecost) begins at sundown June 3, 2014 and goes through June 5.

Tisha B'Av (Destruction of Temple) begins at sundown August 5, 2014.
