Meet Our Staff

Murray Tilles - Executive Director/Missionary

Murray Tilles, director of Light of Messiah Ministries in Atlanta, GA, is a Jewish believer originally from North Carolina. He was born and raised in a traditional Conservative Jewish home. Murray has been a believer for more than 28 years accepting his Messiah at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where he graduated in 1982 with his degree in Economics. He has been a missionary to the Jewish people for more than twenty years, spending six years as a staff worker with the ministry of Jews for Jesus. Three of those years were spent with the Liberated Wailing Wall mobile evangelistic team, which he led. During that time he and his wife, Alana, ministered in over a thousand churches in all 48 continental United States as well as in Canada, South Africa, England, and Israel. God has been faithful, as many Jewish people have come to know their Messiah through Murray's work. Murray has earned an M. Div. and an M.A. in Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.

He and Alana have two children, Nathan Asher (14) and Shayna Ariel (11).

Since coming to Atlanta, Murray has also ministered in over 80 churches a year helping his brothers and sisters in Christ understand the Jewish roots of our faith through Passover services, other messages, and seminars.
